THE MADISON HELPING HANDS COMMEMORATE
THEIR 23RD REDEDICATION CEREMONY
On January 23, 2003, The Madison Helping Hands, Atlanta's oldest existing auxiliary-club, held their annual ritual to rededicate themselves for another year of service to the Atlanta United House Of Prayer. Through years of hard work, the Helping Hands continued to prosper and of our membership is growing. One member remarked, "Sometimes our victories are not as noticeable; you can count us down, but don't count us out, for we are working with a new focus and determination. As our pastor stated, 'there will be a Helping Hands club in Atlanta until Jesus comes." The Helping Hands celebrated
their 23rd Anniversary on April 19, 2003. The Helping Hands officers
are: St. Eva Lyn Garvin, President; Sisers Loretta Johnson, Vice-President;
Sharon Dijon, Financial Secretary, Ardis Lawrence, Recording Secretary
and Cheryl Williams, Treasurer. New members for the year 2002 are Sisters
Doris Washington, Felicia Anderson,Tammy Williams and Karen Fleet. MADISON REDEEMERS CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARY On February 15, 2003, the Madison Redeemers celebrated another anniversary and it was a great success. They are continuing to grow spiritually. They have been encouraged with the return of Brother Tony White in February, 2003. We were happy to see the Redeemers performing in Augusta again. They are an integral part of Atlanta and they make us proud.

TRI-STATE YOUTH CONVENTION HELD IN
ATLANTA, GEORGIA On February 22, 2003, A
Tri-State Youth Convention was held in Atlanta, Georgia. Brothers and
sisters from across the states of Georgia, Florida, and Alabama united
in fellowship. It was a pleasure to be able to lift up the name of the
Lord in song and praise with friends and families who traveled far to
attend. That evening, the eight o'clock prayer service was powerful.
There was barely standing room from one end of the sanctuary to the
other.
On March 1, 2003, Nicole
Brown and Brother Asbury Simmons II were wed in holy matrimony at the
